I work to help people navigate their complex worlds in order to live a healthier, happier life. I believe that all components of one's life are interrelated. Stress, crisis, life changes and uncertainty happen to everyone, often without warning. When crisis or chaos strike, it is comforting to have someone listen in a safe, open, non-judgmental space in which you can uncover the inner strengths and skills you already possess. I work with clients to create this environment, through which genuine healing, change, and self-empowerment can occur.
I am available for Alcohol and Drug assessments (i.e. as ordered by the court). These are independent assessments and are not intended as on-going therapy, however, this option is available for those working through substance use/abuse/addiction. These assessments are not typically run through insurance and are private pay.
Please contact me for scheduling, pricing, and insurance information.

All I've ever wanted to do with my life is help people. I started my journey in 1997. I have experience working with survivors and perpetrators of domestic violence, teens and adults struggling with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring diagnoses as well as various levels of mild to moderate mental health. Although I use an array of therapy models, I'm most comfortable with Cognitive Behavioral Therapies. Whether your looking for an ear to vent to or someone to give you concrete tasks, I'm your person.
I am excited and ready to share my knowledge to help others break through barriers and reach their goals with conventional and non-conventional treatments. The #1 feedback I get from my clients is how comfortable they are with me from our first meeting. In study after study, its not the type of treatment used that predicts positive outcomes its the rapport.
It can take just one person to believe in you and support you, to catapult you on to your intended path to happiness. I'd be honored to be that person in your life journey. Now scheduling in person and Teletherapy intake appointments for evenings and weekends.

Person-centered, solution-focused therapy for children, teens and adults. My treatment approach includes a blend of strength-based work, trauma-informed care and cognitive behavioral treatment. I help people to better understand their thoughts, behaviors, and emotions that can interfere with coping and functioning. Best fit for individuals experiencing stress, PTSD, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, as well as support with parenting challenges and life transitions.
Main treatment models I provide are CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) as well as CPT (Cognitive processing therapy) which is a specific type of cognitive behavioral therapy that has been effective in reducing symptoms of PTSD.
Together, we can explore solutions and positive growth. A brief therapy model is not compatible treatment for crisis, psychiatric emergencies, legal issues, active addictions, severe and persistent mental illness including suicidal or self-injurious behavior, nor those with histories of recent hospitalizations.

In therapy, I primarily use a solution-focused approach. My goal is to help you learn the skills and strategies needed to support your wellbeing more independently. That being said, there are instances where long-term therapy is useful and important. Life happens, right? I am available for this kind of support as well! Special interest areas include college student issues/transitions, trauma, chronic illness, and body image concerns.

It takes immense strength and courage to reach out for help. It is an honor and a privilege to be allowed to walk alongside someone through their journey of self-exploration, growth and healing. Before anything else, I believe that it is my job to provide a safe, empathetic, non-judgmental environment for you to share your story. No one is immune to stress, overwhelming emotions and various forms of crisis throughout their life. I believe that you are the expert on your life and I welcome hearing your story in order to walk with you through your life experiences
I aim to create a partnership with you wherein we work to meet your personal goals by discovering and utilizing your strengths, engaging in problem solving, and implementing new strategies for change and growth.
